I had never heard of Abundant Life Foods, but I like the Fudge Brownie Mix we tried. The brownies are delicious and didn't seem to be as grainy as some mixes. I rate them at 8.5 out of 10. They are obviously better warm and fresh, as evidenced by my experience the next morning--when the pieces I had carefully covered for other family members to taste had gotten hard and crunchy.
The directions include a note to bake the brownies in a silver foil pan, so that is something to remember to buy before making the brownies. As with many brownie recipes and mixes, the batter is thick and a bit hard to manage--but worth the effort.

If you want to make brownies from "scratch," here is the recipe from my cookbook:
Brownies
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
5 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons vanilla
¾ cup rice flour
½ cup tapioca flour
¼ cup potato starch
⅛ cup sorghum flour
⅛ cup corn flour
2 teaspoons xanthan gum
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ pound melted butter
Hot Fudge Icing
¼ cup butter
1 cup sugar
¼ cup milk
⅔ cup milk chocolate chips
¾ cup miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat eggs. Add sugar and mix well.
- Add remaining ingredients, except melted butter and begin mixing. Batter will be thick. Add melted butter gradually.
- Bake for 35 to 38 minutes in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. For a crispier brownie, bake on a greased jellyroll cookie sheet and reduce baking time.
- To make Hot Fudge Icing, melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar and milk. Boil for one minute. Take off the heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallows and vanilla. Stir until well mixed. Let the frosting cool before spreading on brownies or frosting will be runny.
